THEATRE

Fou?

'Fou?' is a toupe of roaming characters developed by Tim Taylor and Melanie Camp.

An earlier troupe was created for the University of Canterbury Drama Society and included four friendly day characters, and 5 spooky night characters.

This incarnation of 'Fou?' was developed to provide crowd entertainment for the 2005 World Buskers Festival in Christchurch, New Zealand. The troupe of Melanie Camp, Scott Koorey and Tim Taylor performed 18 times over 10 days before the gala show each evening, and roaming the streets during the day.

The Dresser

The Elmwood Players presented 'The Dresser' by Ronald Harwood in October 2004. The production was directed by Melanie Camp and designed by Julian Southgate.

The show received excellent reviews and was nomated amateur production of the year by the Christchurch Star newspaper. Special credit was given to the cohesive and professional design of the entire production and the flawless execution of all aspects of the show.

William Shakespeare's Richard III

The University of Canterbury Drama Society's production of William Shakespeare's 'Richard III' was a resounding success for the student based cast, crew and production team.

The thirty thousand dollar show was awarded 'Best show of 2002' by the Student Union.
